an outstanding wine produced from (70%)corvina,(15%)rondinella and (15%)corvinone grapes, grown in the hills north east of verona. gentle drying (or appassimento) of the grapes then maturation in large oak vats for 18 months gives a serious tone but with velvety and harmonious flavours. ideal with all types of more richly flavoured meats and mature cheeses. we recommend serving at room temperature and uncork the bottle at least a couple of hours beforehand.
