translation of other label: chateau d'armilhac had between 1955 and 1974 the name of ch. mouton baron phillipe, then between 1975 and 1988 it was called mouton baronne phillipe. created in the 18th entury by the armailhacq (or armaillhac) family, this 5th classed wine from the 1855 clissification was named ch. mouton d'armailhacq and has now returned to it original identity. neighbor of ch. mouton rothschild, it is never-the-less distinct in its vines its cave and its winery. the excellent wine prosses a proper personality which will from now be recognized. mouton baronne philippe of armailhac, the name changes but the under the new label there is the complexity and richnes of a pauillac.
