this high-expression wine is vinified by philippe dourthe, engineer in oenology, proprietor along with his three children of this magnificent 72 hectare domaine located in the heart of the médoc, near bordeaux. the harvest went through three successive and very rigorous sortings in order to ensure that all of the grapes were brought in perfectly healthy and ripe. then, following the purest bordeaux tradition of the grand crus, our wines are aged 18 months in new french merrain oak barrels 50% to 70% according to the vintage).
blend percentages: cabernet sauvignon (52%), merlot (41%) and petit verdot (7%).
