translation of foreign text:"château d"armailhac was, from 1956 to 1974, known under the name of château mouton baron philippe, and from 1975 to 1988, under the name of mouton baronne philippe. created in the xviiith century by the d"armailhacq family (or d"amailhac), this fifth grand cru classé in 1855 under the name of château mouton d"armailhacq, finds again, on one hand, its original identity.
neighbor of château mouton rothschild, yet it is distinct by its vines as well as its winery. this excellent vintage has its own personality which will henceforth be fully recognized.
