"docg" is a quality assurance designation and stands for denominazione di origine controllata e garantita (designation of origin guaranteed). "superiore" is italian for superior. the wine is produced and bottled by "rovero f. lli s.s. agricola" which translates to the name of the rovero farm which includes vineyards, farm, winery and distillery.
