soil consists of alluvial sands and shales, and with the sea nearby the climate is particularly mild. this favourable environment produces quality, full-bodied wines, which guarantee an enjoyable drinking experience.

the particular microclimate in the area in which this wine is produced guarantees refosco its best expression. the wine come from decades-old vines. after a long maceration, the wine is aged for approximately thirteen months in oak barrels and for another period in the bottle. robust full and velvety, its bouquet has the finesse and elegance of a red wine that can accompany all important meals and occasions. it pairs well with game birds, aged cheeses and seasoned meats. serve at 62-65 degrees
